Fengmenkou fault is a large regional fault with east-west distribution, with a length of about 60km and a fault distance of 5000m in the park. It controls the main geological, mineral and geomorphic units of the park. To the north of the fault are the majestic Wangwu Mountain and Taihang Mountains. The strata are mainly Archean, Paleoproterozoic, Cambrian and Ordovician, and the minerals are mainly iron ore, copper mine, lead-zinc mine and quartz sand mine. To the south of the fault are low mountains and hills. The strata are mainly Carboniferous, Permian, Triassic and Jurassic, and the minerals are mainly coal mines, bauxite and pyrite.
