The pavement and buildings of Shijing Lane are built on the original stone paving in Wangwu Mountain, showing the survival wisdom of relying on mountains to eat mountains. There are ancient water wells in the lane, with mottled stone marks, masonry and ancient wells reflecting each other, bearing the philosophy of life precipitated by years.
